MetaGrid Pro makes it easy to share and manage your custom buttons, grids, macros, and other configurations. Whether you’re collaborating with colleagues or transferring content between devices, MetaGrid Pro uses a combination of iCloud Drive, Dropbox, and the iOS Share menu for seamless content exchange.
In addition, MetaGrid Pro organizes your exported content into a predefined folder structure, ensuring everything stays neat and accessible.
Folder Structure Overview
When you export components, MetaGrid Pro creates the following folder structure in your chosen storage location (iCloud Drive/Dropbox):
- Backup: Stores individual backup files of specific components (not complete backups).
- Buttons: Contains exported button files (e.g., .mbutton).
- Custom Icons: Only available in iCloud Drive, this folder stores custom images for button customization.
- Faders: Saves fader configuration files.
- Gesture Pads: Contains exported gesture pad files.
- Grids: Stores exported grid files (e.g., .mgrid).
- Macros: Holds macro files.
- Palettes: Saves exported palette configurations.
- Profiles: Contains complete profile files (e.g., .mprofile).
- Workspaces: Stores exported workspace files (e.g., .mspace).
This structure ensures all exported items are stored in logical, easily accessible locations.
