If MetaServer crashes or quits unexpectedly, you can locate its crash report using macOS’s built-in Console app.

Please send us the crash file so we can investigate what happened.

🔍 Option 1: Using the Console App

  1. Open Finder → Applications → Utilities → Console.app
  2. In the left sidebar, select Crash Reports (or User Reports on newer macOS versions)
  3. Look for a file named something like:

MetaServer_<date>_<computername>.crash

  1. Right-click (or Control-click) the file and choose Reveal in Finder
  2. Attach that .crash file to your support message

🗂️ Option 2: Using Finder Directly

  1. In Finder, click the Go menu and select Go to Folder…
  2. Paste the following path and press Return:

    ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/

  1. Find the file starting with MetaServer (for example: MetaServer_2025-10-26-183540.crash)
  2. Attach that file to your message

💡 Tip

If you don’t see a recent crash log, try restarting MetaServer and reproducing the issue — macOS will automatically create a new crash report.
