How to reset accessibility permissions on Mac

Sometimes macOS may repeatedly ask you to grant Accessibility permissions for MetaServer every time you open the app. Here are two solutions to resolve this issue.

Solution 1: Remove and Re-add MetaServer in Accessibility Settings

1. Open Settings on your Mac and navigate to Privacy & Security > Accessibility.

2. Find MetaServer in the list of applications.

3. Select MetaServer and click the - button to remove it.

4. Click the + icon to re-add MetaServer:

  • Navigate to your Applications folder.
  • Select MetaServer from the list and click Open.

Solution 2: Resetting accessibility permissions

  1. Open Terminal.app (you can find it in your Applications > Utilities folder or by searching for “Terminal” in Spotlight).
  2. Type the following command: tccutil reset Accessibility. 
  3. Press Enter
  4. Quit Terminal.
  5. Open System Preferences and navigate to Security & Privacy
  6. Select the Accessibility tab.
  7. Re-add MetaServer to the Accessibility list:
  8. Click the + icon to re-add MetaServer:

    • Navigate to your Applications folder.
    • Select MetaServer from the list and click Open.
