Transition to the New Subscription Model for Existing Premium Users

What This Means for You

If you are an existing premium user of MetaGrid Pro (prior to version 1.6), rest assured that you will retain everything you already have. This includes:

• Full access to all features and content available in MetaGrid Pro 1.5.

• All purchased add-ons

• All new features introduced in MetaGrid Pro 1.6 at no additional cost.

Going forward, however, new features introduced in MetaGrid Pro 1.7 and beyond will be available exclusively under the new subscription model.

Why the Transition?

Unlike traditional desktop software, where developers can charge for major version updates, the App Store does not allow for paid updates. This means that once an app is purchased, all future updates must be provided for free unless a new business model is implemented. As MetaGrid Pro continues to evolve, this new subscription model allows us to:

• Continue delivering meaningful improvements and innovations.

• Provide long-term support and maintenance.

• Ensure sustainability for ongoing development.

Your Options

• If you are a pre-1.6 premium user, you can keep using everything you have, including all new features introduced in version 1.6.

• If you want access to new features in 1.7 and beyond, you will need to opt into the new subscription model.
